Family Workshop: Shanty on the Danny

Entrance FREE, donations kindly requested

12 places, for children up to 8 years

A fun and engaging workshop for children and their adults on board the historic steamship the Danny. Find the teddy bear crew who are manning the vessel, and discover the jobs they do. Put actions to these jobs. Now work with Bernie Thomas, composer of Step Aboard the Danny to turn this all into a performance of your own Danny Shanty!

We are open as usual to guide the public round the historic engineering and interiors of the Danny from 12.00 to 16.00, but for the last two hours Eden Thomas and the Port Sunlight Sea Dogs will be on the decks playing folksongs associated with working vessels to add atmosphere to your visit
